As the research blog states, “…Shumway is very experimental, is missing features, contains many defects, and is evolving rapidly.” If you’re a technical person who wants to help the current situation with Flash and the Open Web, please help us out.
Did you saw http://code.google.com/p/swfobject/ ? It appears to have the same objective
swfobject is about dynamically loading SWF files for playback using the Adobe Flash Player. Shumway works with swfobject but replaces the Adobe player with a web-native implementation.
